Weave Away! (A learning-to-weave workshop)

Date: Saturday November 14, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break (please bring your own lunch or purchase something on Main Street)

Cost:

  • For non-members: $77.00 (which includes a $5.00 user fee for the loom), +$10.00 material fee due on day of workshop

  • For members: $72.50 (which includes a $5.00 user fee for the loom), +$10.00 material fee due on day of workshop

Class Overview:

  • We are weaving coasters or samplers of twill on Guild-provided table looms. We will learn different weaving-related terms and the names of the parts of the loom. No fear…the looms will be dressed already, so all you have to do is show up and be ready to have some fun with colours and patterns. If you are interested in learning to weave, this class is for you! Once you are hooked, you can book another class to learn how to dress a loom and proceed from there.
