Applique Class​

 

Learn a variety of ways to appliqué by machine and by hand.

 

Date: Sunday May 17th (long weekend) & Sunday May 24th, 2026

Time: 10:00 AM -1:00 PM

Cost: $96 for non-members is, $90 for members

 

Bring your own sewing machine in good working order and a basic sewing kit including thread, scissors, stitch ripper etc.

We will be appliquéing heart shapes, so bring a variety of pieces  at least 6" x 6"  - 100% cotton fabric for the hearts and a meter or so of 100% cotton in a contrasting colour for the background.

Beginner Quilting

Returning Winter, 2027

Learn the basics of quilting while making a lap size quilt. 5 Saturday mornings take you through the process of selecting fabric, cutting, stitching, quilting and binding a quilt. You will be expected to do some homework between classes.

Prerequisite knowledge: basic sewing skills and how to use your sewing machine.

Cost is $240 for non-members and $225 for members.
